About the Organizations
WHO IS INVOLVED?
Any Given Child JacksonvilleThe John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts launched Ensuring the Arts for Any Given Child in 2009. This national initiative brings communities together to implement comprehensive, sustainable arts education agendas so all K-8 children have equitable access to learning in the arts.
Any Given Child (AGC) Jacksonville was formed in 2013 and since then they have united diverse stakeholders that include the Superintendent of Duval County Public Schools, arts organizations and artists, school principals and teachers, and business and community leaders. AGC works to restore the arts as a centerpiece of quality education. |
Cultural Council of Greater JacksonvilleSince 1973 The Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville has served its mission to champion the appreciation, relevance, and expression of art and culture. As the official arts agency for the City of Jacksonville, The Cultural Council values collaboration as a means to expand the City’s collective vision and strives to create equal access to and opportunities in the arts and humanities sector for all of Jacksonville.
The Cultural Council is committed to bringing more art, more culture, and more people to Jacksonville’s five counties. The Cultural Council administers the Cultural Service Grant Program (CSG) and Art in Public Places Program (APP) on behalf of the City of Jacksonville. |
